I made all the beads pictured on a Minor with Effetre glass. Tools used: marver, pick, tweezers, and a blade.

Original Scarab Design. My desire was to recreate this ancient symbol in a new way as a bead. All in all about 5 years to come up with the current style, and it's evolution continues.  I first started showing and selling these at the 2003 Bay Area Bead Extravaganza in Oakland.
